The Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychopathology & Therapy prepares clinicians to diagnose and deliver evidence-informed interventions for developmental, behavioural, and emotional challenges across childhood and adolescence.
Curriculum Modules & Clinical Competencies:
- Module 1: Neurodevelopmental Assessment: Comprehensive evaluation of ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), learning disabilities, and sensory processing profiles.
- Module 2: Pediatric CBT & Play-Informed Interventions: Cognitive behavioural adaptation for youth, expressive therapies, narrative drawing, and externalizing disorders.
- Module 3: Attachment Theory & Family Systems: Working with parental dyads, systemic family interventions, separation anxiety, and school refusal protocols.
- Module 4: Adolescent Mood, Self-Harm & Crisis Intervention: Safety planning, adolescent depressive equivalents, cyberbullying trauma, and peer relationship dynamics.
- Module 5: Multidisciplinary Collaboration & Case Log: School consultation frameworks, pediatric psychiatric liaison, and clinical case portfolio.
Candidate Eligibility & Clinical Prerequisites
Academic Degree
Recognized primary degree (MBBS, MD, PharmD, BSN, BSc Psychology) from an accredited university.
Clinical Experience
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant post-graduate clinical practice or internship completion.
Examination Board
Passing standardized continuous modular assessments and final OSCE viva voce.
